Athletes on the Krush Fast Pitch, Inc. softball team(s) must keep in mind that they are always in the public eye. Their personal conduct, on and off the field, is always subject to the scrutiny of fellow teammates, parents/guardians, coaches, and opponents. As a Krush athlete, you have a responsibility to be a positive role model and representative of the Krush softball program. In order to be successful in that role, an athlete should:
- Show respect for yourself, officials, managers, coaches, authority, property, and peers at all times.
- Follow ALL team rules.
- Practice the ideals of respect, team loyalty, sportsmanship, and fair play.
A WINNING ATTITUDE
Striving to be your best is an important key to succeeding in all aspects of your life. Winning is an admirable goal. However, experience has shown that true victory rarely comes if the ideals mentioned above are not the top priority. Winning without having the proper perspective is a hollow victory at best. Softball is a great sport, but it is only a game. Strive to develop the winning mindset that will make you successful in ALL aspects of life.
