18U Miller

Loving sports my whole life, softball was the one that was most special to me. After playing throughout Little League and my school career, I completed my fastpitch playing time at the Division III college level at RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute). I continue to play to this day, but on a co-ed slow pitch team. Throughout my softball career, I have played just about every position but definitely found that middle infield is my favorite. After my children started playing softball, I found that not only did I have a lot of knowledge to share, but I thoroughly enjoyed teaching the sport I love to the younger generation. I coached for about 6 years within our Little League and its associated travel program and I managed a team with Krush for approximately 3 1/2 years. For the last year, I have been the catching coach for the organization and this year I am back with a team, but in an assistant coach capacity.  

• 1981 graduate of Pottsgrove high school
• Attended University of Texas on a full baseball scholarship. Graduated from Moravian college.
• Drafted by Toronto Blue Jays in 1984 in the 5th round. And drafted again in the 3rd round by the K.C. Royals.
• Played 4 years of minor league baseball.
• Worked with USA Baseball camps as a hitting & in-field instructor for 20+ years.
• Worked at St. Gabriel’s Hall for 31 years as a teacher & disciplinary dean.
• Coached varsity baseball, soccer & CYO basketball.
• Currently a private hitting instructor & assistant coach for Krush 16U.
